Lehigh Preps For Midweek Road Game At Binghamton

12/1/2025 4:59:00 PM | Men's Basketball

BETHLEHEM, Pa. – After playing three straight games away from Stabler Arena, Lehigh men's basketball will compete once more on the road on Tuesday, December 2 at 6 p.m. at Binghamton University.

Lehigh (3-6) and Binghamton (2-6) have never played one another before. If Lehigh wins, head coach Brett Reed would win his 291st game, putting him only nine away from becoming the second coach in Patriot League history to reach 300 wins.

The Mountain Hawks took the court against the Texas State Bobcats on Saturday in the Resorts World Las Vegas Classic consolation game. Junior Nasir Whitlock scored a career-high 31 points to help the Mountain Hawks defeat the Bobcats 78-74 in overtime. Whitlock hit a pull-up mid-range jumper at the buzzer to send the game to overtime. Joshua Ingram added 11 points, four rebounds and two assists while Caleb Thomas impressed with ten points and a team-high four assists. Peter Kramer scored nine points with three made triples. Hank Alvey had eight points, five rebounds and three assists. Urosevic chipped in six points while Jake Pike added three points and a team-high seven rebounds. Lehigh shot the ball at a very high rate, making 50% (29-58) of its field goals and 52% (13-25) of its three pointers.

Binghamton enters Tuesday's matchup holding a 2-6 record and still in search for their first Division-I win. The Bearcats' wins came against RIT on November 5 and Misericordia on November 19. In their last time out, the Bearcats fell 75-66 to Canisius in the Queen City Classic on November 23.  Demetrius Lilley is the leading scorer and rebounder for Binghamton, averaging a double-double 16.7 points and 10.3 rebounds per game. Jeremiah Quigley is second on the team in scoring at 12.7 points per game while dishing out a team-high 6.3 assists per game.

Following Tuesday's game, Lehigh returns to Stabler Arena to host LIU on Saturday, December 6 at 5 p.m.

Tuesday's game will be broadcast on ESPN+ and will be available on Fox Sports 94.7 FM and 1230 AM.
