BEFORE LEHIGH
Thomas joins Lehigh by way of Atlanta, Georgia, joining his future classmate Caesar Burrows as commits from the greater Atlanta area. Thomas plays at Combine Academy in North Carolina, which is part of the nationally run Overtime Elite league. He has also played for Team Thad EYBL and within the Nike EYBL, which is a highly competitive youth basketball league. During his high school career, Thomas has been a first team All-State selection, first team All-Region selection and was a 1,000-point scorer at Pebblebrook High School. Off the court, Thomas has maintained a perfect 4.0 GPA throughout high school.

"Caleb Thomas is a consummate point guard," said Reed. "He's a very good on-floor communicator and organizer, he shoots the ball very well, and he's got an element of determination the way in which he competes and leads his team. I'm pleased with his basketball IQ and feel, and those attributes should allow him to naturally transition to our more open type of offensive style."
