LOCK HAVEN, Pa. – In its first dual as a varsity program, the Lehigh women's wrestling team went on the road to defeat Lock Haven 26-15 Sunday at Thomas Fieldhouse. The Mountain Hawks won six of the 10 bouts on the day and started fast, winning the first three bouts and six of the first seven to prevail in their debut dual.

First-year Hattie Mack took the mat first for Lehigh at 103 and after giving up the initial takedown to Summer Batts, rattled off the next 12 points to claim a 12-2 technical fall victory, giving the Mountain Hawks an early 4-1 lead. Mack led 8-2 at the break before adding two more takedowns in the second period.

Senior Annika Futch put together an incredible comeback to win at 110. Futch fell behind Anna Lackey 8-0 and trailed 12-7 at the break. In the second period, Futch used an arm spin to throw Lackey to her back, picking up the fall at 3:51.

A wild bout followed at 180 as Cameron Millsapps faced Azariah Moore. Millsapps fell behind 6-0 but battled back to trail just 7-6 at the break. In the second period, Moore went up 11-6 with Millsapps again battling back, taking a 12-11 lead with a takedown. A step out tied the match at 12-12 but Millsapps still had criteria. Moore scored a takedown in the final seconds to win 14-12.

The final bout matched Genevieve An and Lindsay Laws at 207. A back-and-forth match saw An lead 4-2 at the break but then fall behind 6-4 in the second period. An scored a takedown to take a 6-6 lead on criteria, but Laws scored in the final seconds to grab the 8-6 decision.
