Four Mountain Hawks Compete In The NCAA East Regionals in Lexington, Ky.

BETHLEHEM, Pa. - Select athletes from the Lehigh track and field program qualified for this week's NCAA East Regionals in Lexington, Ky. On the women's side, Lindsay MacLellan will compete in the steeplechase and Laura Reigle is slated to compete in the pole vault. Both men's representatives will compete in the javelin throw in Wil Jaques and Greg Stagliano.
Men's javelin is the first event featuring Mountain Hawks, set for 1 p.m. on Wednesday. On Thursday, Reigle competes in the women's pole vault at 6:30 p.m. The final event for the Mountain Hawks is the steeplechase at 5:40 p.m. on Saturday.

Reigle claimed first place at both the Patriot League Championships and the ECAC/IC4A Championships. Her mark of 4.06m at the ECAC/IC4A meet set a new Lehigh school record, as Reigle holds both the indoor and outdoor records in the pole vault.

In the steeplechase at the Patriot League Championships, MacLellan claimed second place with a PR and school record of 10:15.88.

Jaques and Stagliano finished in second and third place in the men's javelin at Patriot League Championships, respectively. In Lehigh's top 10's, Jaques sits second with his 66.27m mark at Patriot League Championships, while Stagliano ranks fifth with a 62.84m throw at the Army Open.
