Young fired her second complete game shutout in eight days, scattering six hits in a 3-0 Lehigh win in the opening game. The Mountain Hawks then scored four runs in the first and 12 in the sixth to claim a 16-1, six-inning victory in game two.
Lehigh has now won nine straight games to improve to 19-14 overall. The Mountain Hawks reach the midway point of Patriot League play at the top of the standings with a 9-0 mark.
Junior Rory Dudley and graduate student Emily Cimino led the offense Sunday's doubleheader with four hits apiece. Cimino also drove in five runs, including four in game two.
Young's second shutout of the season featured six strikeouts against two walks as she improves to 12-7 on the season. She stranded runners in scoring position in the third, fourth and sixth innings.
Senior Brooke Cannon scored the first run of game one in the fourth inning after hitting a leadoff double and then scoring from third under the tag on a throw back from first base when first-year Holly Lovett attempted to take first on a dropped third strike.
Young worked to preserve the one-run lead. Bucknell put the tying run at third and the go-ahead run at first with two outs in the sixth, but Young got Bella Radican to fly out to right field to end the threat.
Lehigh tacked on two more runs in the seventh on an RBI ground out by first-year Gracie Smith and then a single to left by Cimino.

Cimino opened the scoring with a double to right center, Cannon followed with a two-run single and then Dudley added a double to right center, putting Lehigh up 4-0 before Bucknell came to bat.
