Mountain Hawks Wrap Up Bison Outdoor Classic on Sunday

LEWISBURG, Pa. - With three full days of competition, the Lehigh men's track and field team wrapped up competition in the Bison Outdoor Classic on Sunday.
 
MULTIS
First-year Andrew Clark was Lehigh's lone competitor on Friday in the decathlon, taking eighth place with 5610 points. Clark earned PRs across three events; high jump (1.72m), 400m (53.43) and 110 hurdles (16.39). In the 1500m, the rookie took second place with 4:48.20.
 
MID-DISTANCE/DISTANCE
Three Mountain Hawks earned PRs in the 5000m, led by Aidan Lynch's 19th place finish of 14:33.68. Max Leffler and Noah Zahn both claimed PRs with 15:50.38 and 14:42.70, respectively.
 
SPRINTS/HURDLES
In the 400m hurdles, Patrez Thomas was Lehigh's top-finisher in seventh (54.15), while Aidan DiBuono earned a new PR of 57.29.
 
THROWS
In the javelin, Wil Jaques earned fourth with a throw of 60.34m, and Gavin Chamberlain picked up a PR of 50.95. Liam Lovering placed seventh in the discus throw with a mark of 50.80m. In the hammer throw, Achilles Mouzakis' mark of 55.16m was good for eighth place.
 
JUMPS
Daniel Givens was Lehigh's top finisher in both the triple jump and long jump, taking 26th (13.54m) and 32nd (6.25m), respectively. 
 
The Mountain Hawks will split next weekend between the Virginia Challenge at the University of Virginia and the Coach Pollard Invitational hosted by Moravian University.
