2022 OUTDOORS: Recorded a sixth-place finish in the hammer throw at the Navy Spring Invitational (51.44m)... Won the hammer throw with a mark of 52.80m at the Lafayette Dual and finsihed sixth in the discus with a mark of 37.57m... Finished fifth overall in the hammer throw at the Lehigh T&F Invite (50.42m)... Won the hammer throw at the Greyhound Invitational with a mark of 48.20m and finished 16th in the discus with a mark of 37.89m... At the Coach P Invitational, Mouzakis finished second in the hammer (51.24m) and tenth in the discus (37.79m)... Earned a PR in the discus (41.19m) and finished fourth in the hammer (52.65m) at the Carol and John Covert Classic... At the Patriot League Championship, he finished seventh in the hammer throw with a PR of 54.75m... Recorded an eighth-place finish at the IC4A Championship with a mark of 52.35m.
2022 INDOORS: Finished fourth in the weight throw with a mark of 14.96m and 14th in the shot put with a PR of 11.79m... 2021 INDOORS: Recorded a first-place finish (13.02m) in the weight throw and a second-place finish in the shot put (11.14m) at the Lehigh Triangular Meet… Placed fifth overall in the weight throw at the Patriot League Indoor Challenge…
BEFORE LEHIGH
Achilles is coming to Lehigh as a weight throw and hammer throw specialist. Mouzakis holds his high school's all-time record in the hammer throw and is only second all-time in the weight throw behind his brother. He has been to outdoor nationals sophomore and junior year and was going to qualify his senior year if things had gone a little differently due to Covid-19. He also made indoor nationals for the first time as a senior with the weight throw. Achilles has also been a high honor roll student throughout all of high school while being a member of many clubs such as DECA and LEO club.
