Lehigh Heads To Three-Day Competition At Bison Outdoor Classic

BETHLEHEM, Pa. - The Lehigh track and field program heads to Lewisburg this weekend for the Bison Outdoor Classic.Â

Last weekend, the teams went 2-0 versus Lafayette with the men winning 111-88 and the women picking up a 111-89 victory. Across track and field and cross country, the Mountain Hawks swept Lafayette 6-0 in the 2023-24 meetings of The Rivalry.

First-year Nathan Oliphant earned his first win as a Mountain Hawk in the 110m hurdles with a sub-15 PR of 14.94. On the women's side, senior Ashley Struck dominated the 100m and 200m, winning both with 12.05 and 24.24, respectively.

The Bison Outdoor Classic kicks off with the multi events on Friday, beginning with the decathlon 100m at 10 a.m. On Saturday, the multis start competition at 8:30 a.m., followed by men's discus at noon and action on the track starting at 12:15 p.m. with the women's 1500m. Men's javelin is slated to wrap up the field events at 3 p.m. and the men's 10k concludes a full day on the track at 10:20 p.m.

Sunday's final day of competition starts at 10:30 with women's pole vault and wraps up with women's javelin at 1 p.m. Track events run from 9:40 a.m. to 7:05 p.m. as the men's 4x400m concludes the weekend.
