BETHLEHEM, Pa. - Lehigh Track and Field heads to the Ocean Breeze Track and Field Center in Staten Island, N.Y. on Saturday for the Big Apple Invitational.

The invitational lasts from 3 p.m. to 10 p.m. on Saturday with track and field events happening simultaneously.

Last weekend, Lehigh split their program between the Scarlet Knight Open in New York and the Bruce Lehane Scarlet and White Invitational in Boston. Throws, long jump, and triple jump competed in Boston while the rest of the team competed at the Armory in New York.

The men's team took home six distance PRs and junior Skyler Mott won the high jump with a 2.1m, matching his PR and tying his third-place all-time mark.

Of the six PRs in distance, sophomore Alex Heidemann claimed two. He claimed one in the 800m with a time of 1:54.00 and he claimed one with finishing eighth all-time in the 1000m with 2:27.29.

The women's team earned 16 PRs with six top-10 finishes. Sophomore Abby Klebe earned a PR for the mile where she earned a second all-time finish in 4:52.04 in what was her first time competing in the event.

Sophomore Grace Kennedy grabbed two PRs this weekend with her second all-time finish in the 400 and her third all-time finish in the 200.

This is Lehigh's fourth meet this season at the Ocean Breeze Track and Field Center.  The Mountain Hawks competed there three times in January, most recently the Jan. 20 Villanova Invitational.

Senior Achilles Mouzakis and junior Liam Lovering will compete in the prestigious Millrose Games at the Armory on Friday.
