
Scott Earns Second In the Triple Jump As Lehigh Places Sixth at Patriot League Championships

BOSTON - Graduate student Ian Scott landed second in the triple jump as the Lehigh men's track and field team placed sixth after the final day of Patriot League Championships in Boston.
Scott's triple jump mark of 14.35m earned the Mountain Hawks eight points. Junior Jordan Layos landed in eighth and contributed one point in the triple jump with a distance of 14.10m.
Junior Skyler Mott took third place in the high jump with 2.06m. In the throws, junior Liam Lovering took seventh in the shot put with a throw of 15.35m.
Junior Gideon Coprivnicar improved upon his seventh all-time marking, finishing sixth in the heptathlon with 4757 points. Coprivnicar's performance was highlighted by his PRs in the shot put (11.33m) and 1000m (2:51.69. In his first Patriot League Championships, first-year Andrew Clark compiled six PRs out of his seven events, landing ninth all-time in Lehigh history in the heptathlon with 4401 points.
Navy swept both the men's and women's team championships with 242.5 points and 188, respectively.
Lehigh kicks off its outdoor season on March 15 at the Army Open in West Point, N.Y.
