
Lehigh Splits Weekend at The Scarlet Knight Open and the Bruce Lehane Scarlet and White Invite

BETHLEHEM, Pa. - The Lehigh track and field program will compete in two meets this weekend, splitting the squads between New York City and Boston.Â

The Scarlet Knight Open, hosted by Rutgers, is being held in New York at The Armory Track and Field Center. Running and field events are slated for both Friday and Saturday, with the first events starting at 10 a.m. both days. Friday's action begins with the pentathlon and the weight throw, while Saturday's kicks off with shot put and 60m hurdles.

Boston University''s Bruce Lehane Scarlet and White Invite is being held at Boston's Track and Tennis Center.Â

The field events are slated to start at 10:30 a.m. and running events begin at 10:45 a.m. The last events are the 4x400m relay with a 7 p.m. projected meet end time.Â

In last weekend's matchup against Lafayette, both the men's and women's teams took home victories. It was Lehigh's tenth straight sweep over Lafayette in indoor track and field.

For the men, ten athletes earned PRs across all event groups while 12 women earned PRs for the Mountain Hawks. Eddie Moore and Gianna Mangili both listed Lehigh's second all-time 60M times with 6.92 and 7.75, respectively.
