BETHLEHEM, Pa. – After Lehigh volleyball's stunning upset of American in the Patriot League quarterfinal on Tuesday, the postseason push for the Mountain Hawks continues this Friday. The Mountain Hawks will head north to face the one-seeded Colgate Raiders in the semifinal round at 5:30 p.m.

No. 6 Lehigh (16-12, 8-8 PL) and No. 1 Colgate (17-10, 14-2 PL) have met twice in the Patriot League tournament, with the Raiders winning both matchups. The Mountain Hawks dropped a 3-1 decision to the Raiders in Bethlehem back in September before falling 3-0 to Colgate in their most recent meeting on the road on November 9.

Lehigh made history on Tuesday evening in Washington D.C., upsetting No. 3 American in the Patriot League quarterfinal round. The win marked the first postseason victory over American in team history and was Lehigh's first postseason win since 2014. The Mountain Hawks secured the upset victory in five sets led by MB Emily Stewart (12 kills, .304), OH Megan Schulte (12 kills, .303) and RS Ufuoma Omene (11 kills, .316). Stewart earned a first team All-Patriot League nod while RS Natalie Luscomb and DS/L Kyleigh Brown were picked to the second team.

Colgate earned the number one seed and a first round bye in the Patriot League Championship after finishing the year with a 14-2 mark in league play. The final match of the regular season for Colgate was against No. 2 Bucknell, which the Raiders won in five sets to clinch home court advantage for the playoffs. The Raiders earned several postseason awards from the Patriot League, including Player of the Year OH Milan Bayless, Scholar Athlete of the Year OH Abby Shadwick as well as second team selections for S Sydney Jones and RS Tiana Owens.

The winner of Friday's match will play in the Patriot League Championship match, which will be hosted at Cotterell Court in Hamilton, N.Y. on Sunday at 2 p.m.
