Hottinger and Kramer Named to Academic All-District Team

BETHLEHEM, Pa. - Lehigh women's basketball's Frannie Hottinger and Mackenzie Kramer were both named to the College Sports Communicators Academic All-District Team, as announced Tuesday. 

The Academic All-District teams, selected by the College Sports Communicators, recognize the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performances on the field and in the classroom. To be eligible for the team, a student-athlete must have a cumulative grade point average of 3.5 or better and be a starter or key reserve.

Hottinger owns a 3.89 overall GPA in management consulting. The senior has started in all 26 games for Lehigh and is 12th in the nation in scoring. She's putting up 20.8 points per game. Hottinger is eight points away from breaking the single season scoring record at Lehigh.

Kramer has a 4.0 GPA in population health. The Minnesota native is 14th in the nation in three points (42.8). She's averaging 16.8 points per game and has made 23 starts this year. Kramer was named the Patriot League Scholar Athlete of the Year for women's basketball in 2022. 

Hottinger, Kramer and the Mountain Hawks will take on Bucknell in Lewisburg on Wednesday at 6 p.m.
