Mountain Hawks Look To Clinch Playoff Berth Vs. Navy

BETHLEHEM, Pa. – It all comes down to this. With only one match remaining in the Patriot League regular season, Lehigh has a chance to earn the sixth and final spot in the league championships, which are set to be played this month. Standing in the Mountain Hawks' way are the Navy Midshipmen, a team that Lehigh defeated earlier in the season.
Lehigh (13-13, 5-10 PL) enters the final week of the regular season coming off of a 1-1 week. The Mountain Hawks defeated their rival Lafayette in straight sets in the team's final home match, marking the first time that Lehigh has defeated the Leopards since 2019. Lehigh then traveled to Bucknell to take on the Bison on Sunday, falling in four sets to the current #3 seed in the league standings. Megan Schulte ranks second in the Patriot League and leads Lehigh in kills with 346. Makena Smith's team-leading 700 assists rank fourth in the league, Kyleigh Brown's 400 digs ranks fourth in the league while Emily Stewart ranks second in the league with 103 total blocks.
Navy (15-8, 7-7 PL) split their two matches last weekend, losing in five sets to top-seeded Colgate on Friday while defeating Holy Cross in straight sets on Saturday. The Midshipmen have locked in the five seed for this month's league championship. Navy and Lehigh met in Bethlehem earlier this season, resulting in a five-set victory for the Mountain Hawks. Stat leaders for Navy include Jordan Llewellyn (294 kills), Averi Miller (805 assists), Hannah Hoover (325 digs) and Anna Klemeyer (74 blocks).

• Vehicle access to the USNA is limited to those with an approved ID card. All others must park outside of the USNA.
• Fans can either park downtown and walk through the gate one visitors center (52 King George St., Annapolis, MD, 21402) or park ($10 / vehicle) at Navy-Marine Corps Memorial Stadium (550 Taylor Ave., Annapolis, MD, 21401) and ride the free shuttle bus.
• Regardless of how one accesses the USNA, those ages 18 and over must have a government issued photo identification card, such as a driver's license, and visitors ages 17 and under who do not have a valid photo ID must be accompanied by an adult.
