Bonner Named Patriot League Midfielder of the Week

BETHLEHEM, Pa. – Lehigh senior Julianna Bonner has been named Patriot League Midfielder of the Week, the league announced Monday afternoon. Bonner started both games this week for the Mountain Hawks and scored her first goal of the season in Lehigh's 2-2 draw at Delaware Thursday night.
This is the second career Midfielder of the Week award for Bonner, who headed home a cross from first-year Sophia Lis in the 52nd minute for her fifth career goal. The score tied the match at 1-1, with Lehigh eventually going down 2-1 before sophomore Corinne Lyght scored with just under six minutes to play to give the Mountain Hawks their first result of the season.
Bonner tied for the team lead with four shots Thursday evening.
The Mountain Hawks (0-3-1) will travel to Siena Thursday for a 4 p.m. start before returning home to host St. John's Sunday at 1 p.m.
