Lehigh Swimming and Diving Earns CSCAA Scholar All-America Team Honors

BETHLEHEM, Pa. –The Lehigh men's and women's swimming and diving teams both earned Scholar All-America Team recognition from the College Swimming and Diving Coaches Association of America (CSCAA) for the spring semester.
 
The CSCAA recognizes teams with the Scholar All-America Award for achieving a grade-point average of 3.0 or higher. Lehigh was one of nine Patriot League schools top have both programs recognized.
 
Teams were selected on the basis of their spring semester GPAs and represent 17,982 student-athletes. The women's team registered a team GPA of 3.66, while the men recorded a 3.63 team GPA.
 
This honor is coming one week after the Patriot League announced its Academic Honor Roll, an honor that featured 21 student-athletes on the men's team and 30 on the women's team.

Founded in 1922, the College Swimming and Diving Coaches Association of America (CSCAA), is the nation's first organization of college coaches. The mission of the CSCAA is to advance the sport of swimming and diving with coaches at the epicenter of leadership, advocacy, and professional development.
