COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. – Both Lehigh men's and women's swimming and teams were named to the CSCAA Scholar-All America Team on Wednesday by the College Swimming and Diving Coaches Association of America. The GPAs were taken from the 2019 fall semester.

The teams represent 480 institutions from across all NCAA, NAIA and NJCAA Divisions. The CSCAA recognizes teams with the Scholar All-America Award for achieving a team GPA of 3.0 or higher.

"I am proud of the student-athletes success," stated head coach Rob Herb. "Not only are they competitive in the pool, but their toughness extends into their class work and behavior away from the water. The academic success just motivates the athlete success."

Not only are both teams racking up accolades in the water, they are also excelling in the classroom as well. The women's team boasted a term GPA of 3.45, which ranked fourth in the Patriot League behind American (3.69), Loyola (3.60) and Lafayette (3.47).

On the men's side, they also were named to the CSCAA Scholar-All America Team. The men had team GPA of 3.10. The Mountain Hawks were one of eight schools on the men's side from the Patriot League.

You can next catch the Mountain Hawks at the Patriot League Championships through Feb.19 – Feb.22. This year's PLC will be held on the campus of the Naval Academy.
