Ding named Patriot League Golfer of the Week

BETHLEHEM, Pa – Following a third place finish at the recently completed Lehigh Invitational, junior Angela Ding has been named Patriot League Golfer of the Week. This is the first weekly award for Ding, who earned second team All-Patriot League honors in the spring.
Ding finished the two-day, 36-hole Lehigh Invitational at 153, following up an opening round 79 with a 74. She finished one stroke out of a playoff for medalist honors. Ding led a 56 player field with seven birdies in the Lehigh Invitational and played the par 3s in three under par over the two-day event. Her final round 74 matched the low round for her college career, marking the fourth time she has posted that score.
Lehigh finished fourth at its home invitational, with the team improving to a 308 on the final day.
Ding's fall season included a top 10 finish at the FDU Invitational, a 30th place finish at Bucknell and a 46th place finish at Boston College.
The Lehigh Invitational marked the final fall event for the Mountain Hawks, who will return to action in the spring.
