BETHLEHEM, Pa. – Following a weekend which saw a victory against Colgate and a hard-fought Senior Day contest vs. Rider, the Lehigh field hockey team is set to hit the road for games at Boston University Saturday (12 p.m.) and Yale Sunday (1 p.m.). The Mountain Hawks will face their second nationally-ranked opponent of the season in Boston University, currently ranked 24th in the NFHCA Division I National Coaches Poll.

Lehigh is coming off a 2-1 win over Colgate last Saturday before dropping a 4-2 final to Rider on Sunday. On Saturday, senior Lindsay Alvarez assisted on sophomore Lenke Havas' fourth goal of the season to give the Mountain Hawks a 1-0 lead. The Raiders would pull even, but Alvarez scored the game-winner in the 63rd minute for the 2-1 victory. For their efforts, Alvarez and Havas were recognized on the Patriot League weekly honor roll with honorable mention recognition. Havas went on to assist on both Lehigh goals on Sunday against Rider, both scored by first-year Leah Mullery and both off penalty corners. It marked Mullery's second multi-goal game of the season (also at Villanova) and Lehigh's third multi-goal effort from a first-year in 2018 (the other being Sam Nason at LIU Brooklyn).

Junior Paige Innarella had an impressive week in the cage, stopping 26-of-33 shots (78.7 percent) over three games, with one of the goals coming on a penalty stroke. For the season, Innarella owns a 3.18 goals against average and 0.713 save percentage.

Boston University is 8-5 on the season, including a perfect 4-0 in Patriot League play following a 3-2 double overtime win over Bucknell. All five of the Terriers' losses this season have come vs. nationally-ranked opponents, most recently No. 5 Princeton (3-1) and No. 11 Harvard (2-0). Petra Hall and Ailsa Connolly lead the team in goals (6) and points (14) while Ally Hammel also owns double-figure points with 11 (three goals, team-leading five assists). Kathleen Keegan has started all 13 games in goal, tallying a 1.96 GAA and 0.569 save percentage.

The Terriers lead the all-time series with Lehigh, 5-0, all games since the Terriers joined the Patriot League in 2013.

Yale stands 7-6 on the year heading into a Saturday matchup vs. Penn. The Bulldogs have won two straight and three of their last four, most recently beating Dartmouth (4-3) and Quinnipiac (3-1). Imogen Davies leads Yale in goals (6) and points (15) while Bridget Condie has 12 points (four goals, four assist). Sydney Terroso has played every minute in goal, tallying a 2.35 GAA and 0.730 save percentage.

Yale holds a 5-1 lead in the all-time series vs. Lehigh. Lehigh won the first meeting in 1994 by a 2-1 final, but the Bulldogs have won five straight since. Last season, the teams met for the first time since 1998.

Following this weekend, the Mountain Hawks wrap up their season at Towson next Sunday (Oct. 28) at 1 p.m.
