Mountain Hawks Finish Third At Lafayette Invitational

EASTON, Pa. – The Lehigh women's cross country team ran in its second race this weekend, as it sent a squad to the Lafayette Invitational Saturday.
The Mountain Hawks finished third in the race, finishing with 87 team points. Marist was the top finisher with 15 team points.
Junior Sydney Brannon led all Lehigh runners with a 12th place finish with a time of 24:07.28. Sophomore Elyse Barkstrom was next with a 15th place finish with a time of 24:19.01. After Barkstrom was sophomore Erin Tressler who came away with a 23rd place finish with a time of 25:02.62.
The Mountain Hawks will have the next two weeks to prepare for their next meet, as they'll travel to Lewisburg, Pa. to compete in the Patriot League Championship on October 27.
