Men's Soccer Travels to Penn for Thursday Night Tilt

BETHLEHEM, Pa. – The Mountain Hawks will complete the third and final leg of their early season road stand Thursday night with a trip to Penn. Kickoff in Philadelphia is slated for 7 p.m. The game will be streamed live on the Ivy League Network.
Lehigh (2-2) will be looking to cap off its three-game road stint with a winning record after splitting the first two games with a loss at Ohio State followed by a 2-1 comeback win at Cornell last Friday. Freshman Bratislav Petkovic netted the game winner last Friday in the 67th minute and was named the Patriot League Rookie of the Week after winning the game with his first career goal while making his first start. Leading goal scorer Mark Forrest scored the equalizer in the 51st minute and assisted on the game-winning goal.
Forrest leads Lehigh with nine points on the season with four goals and one assist. Petkovic has Lehigh's only other goal while, Doyle Tuvesson and David Zipkin are tied with Forrest for the team lead with one assist each. Forrest also leads the team with a .500 shot-on-goal percentage for the season.
Penn (0-3) is in the midst of a four-game home stand and is coming off a 2-1 loss to Seton Hall last Sunday. The Quakers got their first goal of the season against Seton Hall when Joe Swenson converted a deflection into the net in the 26th minute to give Penn a brief 1-0 lead before the Pirates equalized the match in the next minute.
Swenson and Aramis Kouzine have combined for Penn's only points on the season with a goal and an assist, respectively. The Quakers have used to goalies on the season who have combined to allow six goals in three games. Scott Forbes started the first two contests and owns a goals-against average of 2.00, while Etan Mabourakh started the last the contest and surrendered two tallies with a .600 save percentage.
