BETHLEHEM, Pa. – Only one more week remains before the 2017 Patriot League Championships for the Lehigh men's track and field team. The Mountain Hawks will have their final tune-up before the championships this week with the Lehigh Games on Saturday at the Goodman Track and Field Complex and the 123rd annual Penn Relays.

The Mountain Hawks will be represented in seven different men's events at the Penn Relays this Thursday and Friday, including one Championship of America event. Lehigh's competition in men's races will get underway on Thursday evening at 9:25 p.m. as senior Ryan Cooney and freshman Matt Kravitz compete in the 5K. Senior Lucas Warning will kick off Friday's competition in the discus at 9 a.m., followed by junior Trevor Knowles in the pole vault and sophomore Ryan Givens in the high jump at 10 a.m.

Warning will return to action at noon on Friday as one of 13 athletes competing in the shot put Championship of America. Lehigh will also have two relay teams competing on Friday afternoon with the 4x100 team going at 12:35 p.m. and the 4x400 team at 4:20.

The rest of the team will compete back in Bethlehem on Saturday at the Lehigh Games on the Goodman Campus Track. Several Division I and local colleges will be competing, including Lafayette, Loyola (Md.), St. Joseph's, Muhlenberg, Moravian, and East Stroudsburg among others. The meet will serve as Lehigh's final competition heading into next weekend's Patriot League Championships, which will be hosted by Lehigh at the Goodman Campus.
