WILLIAMSBURG, Va. – A final round 311 helped the Lehigh women's golf team secure a 13th place finish as the 22-team Kingsmill Intercollegiate wrapped up Tuesday at the Kingsmill Resort. Lehigh's top round of the tournament was an opening round 307 on Monday, but in Tuesday's final round Lehigh shaved eight strokes off its second round total to finish at 937 (307-319-311).

The Mountain Hawks finished one stroke behind St. John's for 12th place and 11 strokes out of the top 10.

Individually, three Mountain Hawks shot 78 or better in Tuesday's final round. Sophomore Reagan Jahn was Lehigh's top finisher at 15 over par 231 (74-80-77). Jahn's opening round 74 was the lowest round of the tournament for the Mountain Hawks. Sophomore Aileen Jeong led Lehigh with a 76 on Tuesday and finished two strokes behind Jahn at 233 (76-81-76) to tie for 45th place.

Jahn, Jeong and senior Elizabeth McGarrigle each carded two rounds in the 70s over the 54-hole tournament. McGarrigle shot 236 for the tournament (77-81-78) to tie for 55th place.

Freshman Minuette Laessig tied for 71st place at 239 (80-79-80), while junior Megan Moylan finished at 246 (84-79-83) and tied for 100th.

In a highly competitive team race, Ball State claimed the team title at 900 (300-293-307), besting Delaware and tournament host William & Mary by just one stroke. The individual title was shared by Ball State's Allison Lindley (75-70-72) and Liz Choi (71-72-74) of William & Mary at one over par 217.

The Mountain Hawks will return to action at the Navy Spring Invitational, Apr. 8-9 in Annapolis, Md. That tournament will serve as the final tune-up before Lehigh hosts the Patriot League Championship, Apr. 22-23 on the Grace Course at Saucon Valley CC.
