BETHLEHEM, Pa. - Coming off its most complete game of the season in a win at Bucknell, Lehigh returns to Goodman Stadium for its final two games beginning Saturday as Holy Cross visits as part of Military Appreciation Day and Family Weekend. Junior Dominick Bragalone rushed for 136 yards and three touchdowns while the Mountain Hawks' defense created four turnovers and established season-lows for points and yards allowed. Holy Cross carries a 4-6 overall record and two-game winning streak into its season finale. The Lehigh-Holy Cross game is presented by PSECU.

As part of Military Appreciation Day, any person presenting a military ID Saturday will receive free admission. Tickets will be half price for family members of military personnel.

The opening drive of the game for Lehigh's defense has been telling for the Mountain Hawks through nine games. In all six of Lehigh's losses this season the Mountain Hawks have given up a touchdown on their opponents' opening drive. Lehigh's "D" has stopped its opponent on the opening drive in all three victories.

The Mountain Hawks were solid in all three phases of their win at Bucknell but the most notable positive came from the Lehigh defense, which established season-lows with 21 points and 342 yards allowed. The final 73 of those 342 yards came on Bucknell's final drive with the game well in hand. After creating just six turnovers through eight games, Lehigh created four against the Bison, with juniors Mark Walker and Brian Olshanski recovering fumbles and senior Quentin Jones and Walker picking off passes. Sophomore cornerback Marquis Wilson led the Mountain Hawks with 10 tackles and a pair of pass breakups.

After posting back-to-back 1,000 yard rushing seasons in his first two seasons, junior tailback Dominick Bragalone continues to shine in his junior season. Bragalone has rushed for 999 yards and a FCS-leading 12 touchdowns in 2017 and also leads the FCS with 15 total touchdowns. He was named Patriot League Offensive Player of the Week after rushing for 136 yards and three touchdowns at Bucknell.

With one more yard, Bragalone will be the first-ever Lehigh player to record three 1,000 yard rushing seasons. Only he and Rabih Abdullah '97 have accomplished the feat twice. The South Williamsport, Pa. native owns 15 career 100-yard rushing games, including five straight. Bragalone enjoyed a career day at Fordham, rushing for a career-best 218 yards on 27 carries and adding 79 receiving yards, while scoring twice. His 218 rushing yards ranked seventh on Lehigh's single game list and was the 10th 200-yard individual rushing game in school history and first since Jermaine Pugh in 2003. Bragalone sits in third place on Lehigh's career rushing list with 3,178 yards. Rod Gardner '77 is next at 3,188.

Holy Cross closes out its regular season slate with a visit to Lehigh. The Crusaders are 4-6 overall and 3-2 in the league, having won back-to-back league games over Georgetown and Fordham the last two weeks. Holy Cross' two game winning streak followed a five-game slide in which the Crusaders relieved head coach Tom Gilmore of his duties following a 32-0 loss to Yale.

The Crusaders are led by fifth-year senior quarterback Peter Pujals, who is a threat with both his arm and his legs. Four Holy Cross rushers have more than 200 yards on the season led by Gabe Guild with 440 on 88 carries. Blaise Bell is the top receiver with 44 catches for 546 yards and six touchdowns. Holy Cross boasts the league's top rushing defense and third down defense. Linebacker Nick McBeath is a three-time Patriot League Defensive Player of the Week who has 105 tackles, 11 tackles-for-loss, four sacks, two interceptions and two fumble recoveries this season.

Lehigh and Holy Cross get together for the 33rd time with Lehigh holding an 18-13-1 lead in the series. Lehigh has won six of the last seven games against Holy Cross, including the last three played at Goodman Stadium. Andy Coen is 7-4 versus Holy Cross. These teams first met in 1924 and did not meet again until 1986.

Saturday's game kicks off just after 12:30 from Goodman Stadium. Tickets for the game are still available, and may be purchased by visiting LehighTickets.com or by calling (610) 7LU-GAME.

Lehigh will close out the regular season next Saturday when the Mountain Hawks host Lafayette in the 153rd meeting of college football's most-played rivalry. The Mountain Hawks will be seeking a third straight win over the Leopards and an eighth win in the last 10 games in the series. With a win against Holy Cross, Lehigh could clinch the Patriot League championship and a FCS playoff berth with a win over Lafayette. Game time is set for 12:30 p.m. from Goodman Stadium.
