BETHLEHEM, Pa. - Despite a 45-35 loss at Fordham last weekend, Lehigh controls its own destiny in the chase for the Patriot League title, but the Mountain Hawks must win their final three games, beginning Saturday with a visit to Bucknell. Junior Dom Bragalone enjoyed a career day in the Bronx with 297 all-purpose yards and two touchdowns, including a career-high 218 rushing yards but the Mountain Hawks turned the ball over four times and fell victim to several big plays on defense as they suffered their first league loss and saw a two-game winning streak come to an end.

While Lehigh was unable to come away with a win, Bragalone enjoyed a career day at Fordham, rushing for a career-best 218 yards on 27 carries and adding 79 receiving yards, while scoring twice. Bragalone's 218 rushing yards ranked seventh on Lehigh's single game list and was the 10th 200-yard individual rushing game in school history and first since Jermaine Pugh in 2003. Bragalone also eclipsed the 3,000 yard rushing mark for his career against the Rams. He needs 137 more yards this season to become the first three-time 1,000 yard rusher in Lehigh history.

While Lehigh's offense has been productive in 2017, the Mountain Hawks are at their best when their offense is balanced. Through five games, Lehigh passed the ball on 56 percent of its plays and while the Mountain Hawks threw for 300-plus yards in each game, they only eclipsed 100 rushing yards three times, with a high of just 139 at Wagner. Last year, the Mountain Hawks had a 51-49 run-pass ratio for the season and eclipsed 100 rushing yards and 250 passing yards in seven of their 12 games. In its last three games, Lehigh has averaged 254 rushing yards and 312.7 passing yards, while maintaining a 55-45 run/pass ratio.

With junior quarterback Brad Mayes at the controls, Lehigh boasts the No. 4-ranked passing offense in the FCS averaging 343.9 yards per game. Mayes ranks second in the FCS in passing yards (2,732), yards per game (341.5) and touchdown passes (23). He has eclipsed the 300-yard passing mark in six of Lehigh's first eight games. Mayes bounced back from a rough outing at Wagner with back-to-back strong games against Colgate and Georgetown, completing 53-of-70 (76%) for 681 yards, and six touchdowns with just one interception.

Bucknell brings a 4-4 overall record and 1-2 league mark into Saturday's game. The Bison dropped a 40-3 road contest at Colgate last weekend, one week after topping Lafayette 13-7 for their lone league win. Bucknell boasts the Patriot League's top passing defense and total defense and limited Lehigh to a season-low 20 points in last year's meeting at Goodman Stadium.

Ben Richard leads the Bison with 63 tackles, while Colin Jonov has a pair of interception return touchdowns, including the overtime game-winner at Lafayette.  Simeon Page (4.5 sacks) and Abdullah Anderson anchor Bucknell's defensive line. Offensively, Bucknell is averaging 252 yards and just under 18 points per game. John Chiarolanzio and Matt Muh have both seen time at quarterback, and both saw action in the loss at Colgate. Joey DeFloria is the top rusher with 304 yards but he did not play against the Raiders. Jack Horan leads the Bison receivers with 26 catches for 377 yards and two touchdowns.

Lehigh has played Bucknell more times than any opponent other than rival Lafayette.  The Mountain Hawks and Bison meet for the 81st time with Lehigh holding a 46-31-3 advantage. Lehigh has won 17 of the last 19 games, winning 15 straight before back-to-back Bucknell wins in 2013 and 2014.

Saturday's game kicks off just after noon from Christy Mathewson-Memorial Stadium in Lewisburg, Pa. Bucknell will offer streaming video on the Patriot League Network. Audio coverage will be available on ESPN Radio of the Lehigh Valley (1230/1320/1160-AM) and ESPNLV.com beginning at 11 a.m.

Lehigh returns to Goodman Stadium for its final two regular season games, beginning next Saturday when Lehigh hosts Holy Cross as part of Family Weekend. The Mountain Hawks have won two straight against the Crusaders. Game time is set for 12:30 p.m. Following Holy Cross, Lehigh will host Lafayette in the 153rd meeting of college football's most-played rivalry on Nov. 17.
