PRINCETON, N.J. – The Lehigh men's cross country team competed for the second morning in a row on Saturday with a contingent at the Princeton Invitational. The competitive meet saw the host Princeton Tigers take the top spot (44), followed by Guelph (98) and Stony Brook (114). The Mountain Hawks used eight runners to place 19th overall.
Freshman Seth Slavin led the way for Lehigh in 25:31.6 to place 92nd overall. Senior Joseph Inglis (25:49.8) followed in 126th, Michael Mitchell (26:12.1) placed 158th, and Sean Brown (26:27.8) and Nick Norton (26:29.7) placed back-to-back in 172nd and 173rd, respectively. Eric Kersten (26:56.9) and Kyle Kirk (27:04.5) rounded out Lehigh's field of eight runners.
Lehigh will have next weekend off before hosting the Patriot League Championships on October 28.
