Five Mountain Hawks named to Patriot League Academic Honor Roll

BETHLEHEM, Pa. - Five members of the Lehigh women's golf team have been named to the Patriot League Academic Honor Roll, as announced on Tuesday. Lehigh's five student-athletes recognized tied for second most in the league. Among the honorees were two Mountain Hawks, who posted perfect 4.0 GPAs in the spring semester.

To be eligible for the Academic Honor Roll, a student-athlete must earn a 3.20 grade point average in the spring semester and participate in one of the Patriot League's winter or spring championship sports.

Junior Elizabeth McGarrigle (industrial and systems engineering) and freshman Reagan Jahn (engineering) led the way with 4.0 GPAs in the spring. They accounted for two of the three perfect 4.0 GPAs across the Patriot League. McGarrigle was named to the Academic All-Patriot League Team in May and was a first team All-League honoree. Jahn was also named to the second team, announced following the Patriot League Championship.

Sophomore Casey Farmer posted a 3.94 GPA as a journalism major, senior Nicole Feirberg tallied a 3.80 GPA in marketing and sophomore Megan Moylan recorded a 3.53 GPA in the College of Business.

Lehigh finished third at the Patriot League Championship in April.
