BETHLEHEM, Pa. – Lehigh junior Christine Campbell has garnered Patriot League Pitcher of the Week honors for the third straight week, the league announced Tuesday. Campbell enjoyed another outstanding week in the circle, allowing just one earned run on five hits in 16 innings of work as the Mountain Hawks went 3-1 last week, highlighted by a sweep of Colgate at Leadership Park.

Campbell allowed just one hit in both of her starts versus the Raiders, tossing a five-inning complete-game shutout in Friday's series opener before allowing one unearned run on one hit in Sunday's series finale, a game in which she retired the first 16 batters she faced. She also scattered one run on three hits over four innings in a 1-0 non-league loss to Fordham last Tuesday.

In 16 innings, Campbell struck out 13 and walked just three. The Friday shutout of Colgate was her second of the season. Campbell is now 5-1 with a 0.40 ERA, allowing just two earned runs in her last 34.2 innings of work, spanning six outings. She is 4-0 with a 0.31 ERA in four Patriot League appearances.

Lehigh outscored Colgate 23-1 over the three games to move to 6-0 in the Patriot League.

The Mountain Hawks have won nine of their last 10 games to improve to 24-8 overall and will host Manhattan in a non-league doubleheader Wednesday at Leadership Park.

Senior Morgan Decker paced the Lehigh offense against Colgate, going 5-for-11 with three runs scored and four RBIs. Decker went 3-for-4 in Friday's opener against the Raiders, including a three-run home run that was the 200th hit of her career. Decker leads Lehigh and ranks 11th nationally with a .467 batting average. She has a team-best 15 doubles, six home runs and 31 RBIs.

Senior MacKenzie Velasquez went 4-for-7 in three games against Colgate and matched Decker with four RBIs, while classmate Jessica Calvini had a big two run single that proved to be the difference in Lehigh's 3-1 win in Sunday's series finale.

In the pitcher's circle, freshman Emily Sorem matched Campbell's prowess with seven scoreless innings of work last week, including a five-inning two-hit shutout in Sunday's first game versus Colgate.

Manhattan is 16-10 on the season and 3-1 in the MAAC. The Jaspers are coming off of a doubleheader split with Wagner College on Monday, winning the first game 10-9 then losing the second 3-1. Manhattan also split a MAAC doubleheader at Marist on Sunday.

Offensively, the Jaspers have been led by Elena Bowman, who has a .394 batting average, six home runs and 17 RBIs, while Briana Matazinsky leads Manhattan with 20 RBIs.

Erin Hamm leads Manhattan with a 1.93 ERA in 29 innings, while Matazinsky and Stephanie Kristo have shared the brunt of the pitching responsibilities among the Jaspers' four-pitcher staff.

Lehigh leads the series versus Manhattan 6-2. The teams split a doubleheader in Riverdale, N.Y. in 2014 with Manhattan claiming the opener 3-2 and Lehigh taking the nightcap 7-1.

First pitch of game one is scheduled for 2:30 p.m. Wednesday from Leadership Park. The doubleheader will be broadcast on the Patriot League Network.

Following Wednesday's doubleheader, Lehigh will head to Army West Point for a big three-game Patriot League series Saturday and Sunday.
