HAMILTON, N.Y. – The Lehigh women's basketball team succumbed to hot-shooting Colgate squad Wednesday night at Cotterell Court as the Raiders earned an 82-72 win. Junior Lexi Martins broke the Patriot League single-season rebounding record while sophomore Taylor Campbell put together a career night to lead the Mountain Hawks. Lehigh will be the No. 4 seed in the Patriot League Tournament and will host No. 5 Holy Cross at 7 p.m. Monday in the quarterfinal round inside Stabler Arena.

"Colgate's pressure took us out of what we wanted to do on the offensive end and we didn't play with a lot of poise," said Troyan. "We never got in much of any offensive flow. We like the way we matchup with Holy Cross and are excited to get the tournament underway Monday."

Lehigh wraps up the regular season with a 17-12 overall record and 10-8 mark in Patriot League play. The Raiders improve to 6-22 overall and 4-14 in league action with the win.

The Irvington, N.Y. native tallied her 23rd double-double of the season with 18 points and 12 rebounds against the Raiders.

Campbell also chipped in a career-high 18 points behind a 7-for-10 showing from the field and 4-for-5 effort from three-point range. The sophomore also dished a team-best three assists. Sophomore Quinci Mann followed with 15 points, while seniors Elizabeth Sharlow and Kerry Kinek added nine apiece.

Colgate shot 48.2 percent (27-for-56) from the field, 43.5 percent (10-for-23) from downtown and 90 percent (18-for-20) from the charity stripe. The Raiders held a slim 34-33 rebound advantage.

The Raiders scored the first basket of the game, but Lehigh answered with four points from Martins, two from Mann and a three-pointer from Campbell to string together a 9-2 run that gave the Mountain Hawks a 9-4 lead with just over seven minutes left in the first quarter. The Raiders picked up right where they left off in the third quarter as Colgate used a 12-2 run to extend its lead to 50-36 and force a Mountain Hawk timeout with 5:26 left in the term. The Raiders continued to shoot well as Lehigh struggled from the field and scored the next nine points from the free throw line before a Campbell layup with 33 seconds trimmed Colgate's lead to 58-47. A pair of Colgate free throws ended the term to give the Raiders a 60-47 advantage heading into the final 10 minutes of play.
