BETHLEHEM, Pa. – The Lehigh men's tennis team is gearing up for a two-match weekend as the Mountain Hawks host Delware at 12 p.m. Saturday before welcoming Mount St. Mary's at 2 p.m. Sunday inside the Lewis Tennis Center.

The Mountain Hawks are 2-1 on the young season and coming off their first loss of the 2016 campaign last Friday as Lehigh fell 4-3 to visiting Stony Brook. The Mountain Hawks went down 4-1 to the Seawolves before winning the fifth and sixth flights of singles, but it was too little, too late. Sophomore Jack Petersen, freshman George Cooper and junior Ethan Bogard earned Lehigh's three points in singles play against Stony Brook. Lehigh started the season 2-0 after picking up wins over Drexel (4-3) and Saint Francis (Pa.) (5-2).

Petersen has led Lehigh in singles play with a 3-0 record at the third flight so far this season. Bogard is 2-0 at No. 6 singles, while freshmen Christopher Auteri and Cooper are 2-1 at No. 4 and No. 5 singles, respectively. The tandem of senior Jeremy Kochman and junior Graham Lehman is undefeated at the top flight of doubles with an unblemished 3-0 record.

The Blue Hens will look for their first win of the season Saturday as Delaware carries an 0-4 record into the match. The Blue Hens have dropped contests to Villanova (6-1), UMBC (7-0), James Madison (6-1) and Navy (7-0) so far this season. The Mountain Hawks earned a 5-2 win over Delaware in last season's meeting on March 21, 2015 inside the Lewis Tennis Center. Lehigh swept the doubles matches before winning four singles matches to earn the victory.

Mount St. Mary's is 1-0 this season after a 4-3 victory over Howard in its season opener on Feb. 13. Brandon Wortkotter won No. 6 singles to clinch the match over Howard. The Mountaineers will head to Navy Saturday afternoon before making the trip to Bethlehem Sunday. Last season's scheduled meeting between Lehigh and Mount St. Mary's was cancelled due to winter weather. Lehigh won the most recent meeting between the two teams 7-0 on Feb. 16, 2014.

Following this weekend's two matches, the Mountain Hawks will remain home to host Muhlenberg and Kutztown on Saturday Feb. 27 inside the Lewis Tennis Center.
