Men’s Track and Field Picked Fifth in Preseason Poll

BETHLEHEM, Pa. – The Lehigh men's track and field team has been picked to finish fifth this indoor season in the Patriot League Preseason Poll. Lehigh has finished fifth at both the indoor and outdoor championships each of the last two seasons.
Defending champion Navy was the favorite once again in the poll, receiving 128 votes and 16 first place votes. Boston University was tabbed second, followed by Army in third, with each school receiving one first place vote. Bucknell came in fourth, 10 points ahead of fifth place Lehigh who collected 75 points.
Holy Cross, American, Colgate and Lafayette rounded out the nine-team field.
Lehigh opened up its season last weekend with the Lehigh Season Opener, and will once again compete at Rauch Fieldhouse this weekend with the Fast Times Before Finals meet.
