PHILADELPHIA, Pa. - The Lehigh men's swimming and diving team came up on the short end of a 194-105 decision at Drexel on Saturday afternoon. Junior Jacob Moyar led the way with three individual wins on the afternoon for the Brown and White, while Justin White and Jamal Willis each tallied one win apiece. The trio joined with Zach Tieke to notch a win to close out the day in the 400 free relay (3:06.70). In total, Lehigh dominated the freestyle, winning four of the five events, including the 400 relay.

Moyar outpaced the field in both the 500 and 1,000 yard freestyles, winning the 500 free in 4:42.70 and the 1,000 in 9:44.64. He also claimed victory in the 200 butterfly with a time of 1:49.71. The time was 2.98 seconds faster than second place finisher Kyle Lukens, the Drexel record holder in the event and highest seed entering the race.

Willis claimed the top spot of the 50 freestyle, winning the event with a time of 21.03. White finished in third place, helping the Mountain Hawks earn two of the top three spots. The Dragon's Joel Berryman, who also competed against Willis and White at the U.S. Nationals in December, finished between the duo in second place.

White topped the field of the 200 yard freestyle to capture his lone victory of the day. His time of 1:41.81 topped the field of six competitors and earned the maximum of nine team points. Tieke also scored for the Mountain Hawks with his fourth place finish of 1:46.32. White also turned in a strong second place performance in the 100 freestyle, finishing the race in 46.59.

Justin Kostelnik tallied one of the Mountain Hawks' four runner up marks in the 200 yard backstroke, touching in 1:56.47. Tieke also grabbed a second place mark, finishing two-three with teammate Jake Hassel in the 100 yard butterfly. Hassel, Jimmy Davey and Matt Carducci each scored in the 200 yard IM, finishing in spots three-through-five, respectively.

The Mountain Hawks earned two team points from their third place, 200 medley relay team of Davey, Jake Hassel, Tieke and Willis. Connor Guilfoyle registered two points for his fourth place tally in the 100 breaststroke.
