BETHLEHEM, Pa. - After resuming the 2015-16 season at Army last weekend, the Lehigh men's and women's swimming and diving programs will return to Jacobs Pool this Saturday afternoon to face Patriot League foe, Loyola (Md.).

The Greyhounds enter this matchup having not competed since hosting the H2ounds Invite on December 5. Both the men's and women's teams enter the league showdown with identical 3-1 (1-0 Patriot) records. In addition to their win against Iona, Marist and Saint Peter's in the H2ounds Invite, both Loyola teams have tallied wins over Howard and Lafayette, and suffered a defeat at the hands of Johns Hopkins.

Sophomore Ben Cono set a pair of school records and hit NCAA B-cut times in both the 100 breast (53.53) and 200 breast (1:57.97) at the H2ounds Invite. He was named the Patriot League Swimmer of the Week and both times also rank in the top 25 of the NCAA this season. Kait Richter broke her own school record in the 200 butterfly by more than two seconds with a final time of 2:04.23, in addition to swimming the second-fastest time in program history in the 100 fly (56.90). Maddie Meyers (400 IM), Andrew Mann (400 IM) and the women's 200 free relay team also all tallied wins at H2ounds.

Last week at Army, Lehigh junior Justin White earned three runner-up performances (50, 100 and 200 freestyles) on the evening and was victorious as a member of the 200 freestyle relay team. Jacob Moyar added a pair of second place performances (200 fly and 1,000 free) and a third place tally (500 free), in addition to being on the winning 200 free relay squad with White, Jamal Willis and Zach Tieke.

Courtney Ferreira took home first place in the 200 yard freestyle in 1:53.42. Meghan Thompson joined her in the top-three with a third place performance of 1:55.00, and Carolyn Koch helped round out the top-four with a time of 1:55.06. Sydney Bornstein picked up the Mountain Hawks second victory of the evening, turning in a time of 2:05.83 to take the top prize in the 200 yard butterfly. Kaitlyn Ruffing added a win of her own in the 50 freestyle, outpacing the field in 23.42 seconds, and followed that up with a 100 free win (51.24). Freshman Rayna Smilowitz also picked up her first collegiate win on the one-meter board, tallying a score of 201.75.

Saturday's meet at Jacobs Pool is scheduled for a 1 p.m. start time with all diving events taking place during the meet.
