Lehigh sits in seventh after day one of Delaware Invitational

REHOBOTH BEACH, Del. – The Lehigh women's golf team carded back-to-back rounds of 316 on day one of the Delaware Invitational Saturday at Rehoboth Beach Country Club. Lehigh's 36-hole score of 632 has the Mountain Hawks seventh in a 13-team field.

Junior Elizabeth McGarrigle led the Mountain Hawks in both rounds of play on Saturday, shooting 76 in the morning and 77 in the afternoon to sit in a tie for ninth place at 153.

Freshman Raegan Jahn and sophomore Megan Moylan both bounced back from rough opening rounds to shoot 78 in the afternoon Saturday. Jahn is tied for 27th place at 158 (80-78), while Moylan is tied for 29th at 160 (82-78).

Lehigh's other freshman, Aileen Jeong, carded the second lowest score in round one with a 78. Jeong sits in a tie for 48th place at 165 after a second round 187.

Senior Nicole Feierberg is the Mountain Hawks' fifth scoring player. She is tied for 54th place at 167 (84-83).

Sophomore Casey Farmer is competing as an individual and is tied for 61st place at 170 (83-87).

Harvard leads the team race by three strokes over Ivy rival Penn. The Crimson sit at 607 after rounds of 305 and 302. Harvard also has the individual leader in Anne Cheng, who sits at 144 (74-70), three strokes better than Paige Lyle of Rollins College.
