Adesida named Patriot League Field Athlete of the Week

BETHLEHEM, Pa. – Lehigh men's track and field senior Adeolu Adesida has been named the Patriot League Field Athlete of the Week, the league announced Monday afternoon.
Adesida posted one of the top high jumps in the nation this weekend at the Army 5-Way as the senior recorded an IC4A-qualifying leap of 2.15 meters. The jump was good for first place at the meet and is currently tied for the third-best leap by a Division I athlete this season. The mark was .16 meters better than the second-place finisher of Army.
This is Adesida's second-career Patriot League Field Athlete of the Week award.
Adesida and the Mountain Hawks return to action Saturday inside Rauch Field House when Lehigh hosts the Angry Birds Invitational beginning at 10 a.m.
