McGarrigle's 4.0 paces Lehigh's five academic honor roll selections

BETHLEHEM, Pa. – The Lehigh women's golf team placed five student-athletes on the Patriot League Academic Honor Roll, announced Friday. Freshman Elizabeth McGarrigle led the way for the Mountain Hawks with a 4.0 grade point average, the only 4.0 GPA among the 25 women's golf student-athletes named to the honor roll.
The Mountain Hawks finished third at the Patriot League Championship and won two spring tournaments: the Warner University Invitational and the Red Flash Invitational.
McGarrigle, an Engineering major, finished 20th in her first Patriot League Championship.
Junior Kelly Moylan was not far behind with a 3.81 GPA in Materials Science and Engineering. Moylan tied for ninth place with fellow Mountain Hawk Nicole Feierberg at the championship, earning second-team All-Patriot League honors.
Sophomore journalism major Tess Jennings was also on the list with a 3.80 GPA, followed by senior Elizabeth Sander with a 3.55 GPA in Bioengineering. Rounding out Lehigh's five honor roll selections was junior Melanie Dickens, who earned a 3.37 GPA in Civil Engineering.
To be eligible for the Spring Academic Honor Roll, a student-athlete must earn a 3.20 grade-point average in the spring semester and participate in one of the Patriot League's winter or spring championship sports.
