PRINCETON, N.J. – The Lehigh men's track and field team wrapped up a successful outdoor season at the three-day IC4A Championships at Princeton Sunday.

"We've had a great season on the men's side with plenty of major accomplishments," said head coach Matt Utesch. "I'm incredibly proud of all that's been accomplished, but know these kids will keep bringing more to the table. We have more work to do and I look forward to the challenges of next year."

Junior Ryan Mahalsky finished 17th in the 5,000 meter run with a time of 14:36.39. Senior Ryan Knouse finished the 10,000 meter run in 31:44.72 to place 19th.

The 4x100 meter relay team of freshman Christopher Del Rossi, senior Martin Otieno and juniors Julian Copeland and Justin Mahoney finished 19th in the preliminaries with a time of 42.04. Copeland also competed in the long jump and finished 20th with a mark of 6.66m. Otieno finished 31st in the 200 meter dash prelims with a clip of 22.03.

Junior Benjamin Beauchamp took 18th in the discus throw with a launch of 47.24m. Freshman Lucas Warning finished 31st in the shot put with a throw of 14.72m.

Next up, those Mountain Hawks that have qualified will head to the NCAA East Regional Championships May 29-31 in Jacksonville, Fla.
