Mountain Hawks tied for sixth after day one of Rutgers Invitational

PISCATAWAY TOWNSHIP, N.J. - The Lehigh women's golf team is tied for sixth place out of 17 teams after Friday's opening round of the Rutgers Invitational. Senior Kelly Moylan is leading the way for the Mountain Hawks, tied for 17th overall shooting 78 through 18 holes. Lehigh, who finished day one shooting 321 as a team, will wrap up the Rutgers Invitational on Saturday.
Behind Moylan is senior Alyssa Schyed who's just one stroke behind at 79 through round one. She is followed by junior Nicole Feierberg (81), (redacted) (83) and senior Melanie Dickens (86).
The host Rutgers Scarlet Knights lead the way through day one, shooting 300 as a team. They are followed by Saint Francis (Pa.) at 306, Long Island University at 307 and Central Connecticut State at 318.
Tee off for Saturday's final 18 rounds is set for 8:30 a.m.
Following this weekend, Lehigh will compete in the Princeton Invitational next weekend before closing out the fall season with the Lehigh Invitational on October 26-27.
