BETHLEHEM, Pa. -- The Lehigh women's basketball team hopes to start the second half of Patriot League play on a high note when Boston University enters Stabler Arena Saturday afternoon at 2 p.m. in Lehigh's Play 4Kay game. Fans who wear pink will receive free admission and $1 will be donated towards the cause for every fan in attendance by Lehigh gas. The Play 4Kay initiative is an opportunity for a nation of coaches to raise funds, support and awareness for the prevention of female cancers.  Since its inception in 2007, the Play 4Kay initiative has raised over $2.5 million to support women's cancer research. The Kay Yow Cancer Fund is the official charity of the initiative and was founded from the vision of the organization's namesake Kay Yow, former North Carolina State women's basketball coach. Yow was first diagnosed with breast cancer in 1987 and passed away in 2009, after facing her third bout with the disease.

The Mountain Hawks dropped their seventh straight road game on Wednesday evening at Bucknell, 82-68. Another slow start doomed Lehigh, as the Mountain Hawks trailed by 12 at halftime. Lehigh was able to close the gap to five during the second half, but Bucknell's Shelby Romine thwarted Lehigh's momentum with 19 second-half points.

Sophomore Kerry Kinek led the Mountain Hawks with 15 points and eight rebounds. Classmate Elizabeth Sharlow chipped in 14 points off the bench, while juniors Sarah Williams and Katie O'Reilly tallied ten apiece. Williams tallied a season-high eight assists. The Mountain Hawks finished the game shooting 46.2 percent (30-for-65) from the field, highlighted by a 55.9 percent (19-for-34) clip in the second half.

The seventh-place Terriers enter Saturday's game with a 3-6 league record and 8-14 overall mark. Boston University is 1-4 on the road against league opponents.

The Terriers had offensive struggles in their most recent contest at Army on Wednesday, falling to the Black Knights 72-45. The Terriers shot 30.2 percent (15-of-53) for the game and connected on 9-of-25 three-point attempts while going 4-for-10 from the free throw line. Army finished the game with a 46.8 field goal percentage (29-for-62) and shot a blistering 73.3 percent (11-of-15) from beyond the arc.

Kelsey Minato led the Army attack from downtown, sinking six three-pointers to accumulate 32 points. Sophomore Clodagh Scannell led BU with 14 points, including four threee-pointers, while senior Rashidat Agboola had a game-high 12 rebounds. Agboola added eight points on the night while freshman Sarah Hope connected on a trio of triples to post nine points. Senior Danielle Callahan posted seven points and four assists.

Lehigh hopes to claim its first-ever win over the Terriers Saturday. Boston University holds a 4-0 record against the Mountain Hawks and took this season's earlier meeting by a score of 71-64 in Boston.

The Mountain Hawks quickly found themselves down by 20 points early in the game and a late comeback attempt couldn't overcome the early deficit as both teams moved to 1-1 in the league.

Kinek led Lehigh with 16 points, 14 of which came in the second half. Sharlow scored 12 first-half tallies and grabbed a team-leading nine rebounds. Freshman Kayla Burton hit a few late threes to accumulate 11 points, while Williams notched ten second-half points. Lehigh shot just 33.8 percent (24-of-71) from the floor, while the Terriers shot 41.9 percent (26-of-62).
Following Saturday's contest, the Mountain Hawks will remain home to host Army on Wednesday evening. Tipoff is set for 7 p.m.
