BETHLEHEM, Pa. – The Lehigh women's basketball team will join the fight against female cancers on Saturday Feb. 1 when the Mountain Hawks host their annual Play 4Kay game against Boston University at Stabler Arena with tipoff set for 2 p.m. Fans who wear pink will receive free admission and $1.00 will be donated towards the cause for every fan in attendance by Lehigh Gas.
"Our Play 4Kay event is important to our team, program, and community because it provides an opportunity to bring awareness to a great cause through women's basketball," said head coach Sue Troyan. "This special event not only brings awareness to this disease but also provides an opportunity to raise meaningful dollars for the fight against female cancers. All of us have been, or will be, touched at some point in our lives by this horrific disease, and this game provides our program with an opportunity to make a difference."

Yow was first diagnosed with breast cancer in 1987 and passed away in 2009, after facing her third bout with the disease.
Fans in attendance with have the chance to receive multiple giveaways including, but not limited to, t-shirts, pink balls, pink ribbons, etc. The Mountain Hawks will also meet with fans to sign post-game autographs. St. Luke's University Health Network will be on hand in the lobby of Stabler Arena with information about female cancer prevention.
