Men’s basketball to be honored Sunday at men’s lax game vs. Yale

BETHLEHEM, Pa. - On Sunday, the Lehigh men's basketball team will be honored at the men's lacrosse game vs. Yale after winning its second Patriot League Championship in the last three seasons. Opening faceoff is set for 1 p.m. at the Ulrich Sports Complex and admission is FREE for all. The Mountain Hawks will be recognized between the first and second quarters, before heading to practice leading into Sunday night's Selection Show.
Second-seeded Lehigh pulled off an impressive 82-77 road win at #2 Bucknell Wednesday night to win the league title and an automatic bid to the NCAA Tournament. The Mountain Hawks led from the get-go, and never trailed, on the way to the third Patriot League Title and fifth NCAA Tournament berth in school history.
Sunday's lacrosse game features the 16th ranked Mountain Hawks against #15 Yale in a game deemed as one of the week's top 10 games nationally, according to Inside Lacrosse. Lehigh enters with a 5-1 record, which includes a four-game winning streak, featuring big wins over #19 Penn and #4 North Carolina.
