Lehigh's run through the ECC Tournament was culminated by the two-point win over regular season champion Bucknell. The squad had previously defeated Drexel (58-56) and Hofstra (72-68) to advance to the finals.
The '85 squad featured a pair of freshmen who went on to historic careers in the Brown & White. Daren Queenan currently stands as the program's all-time leading scorer (2,703 career point) while Mike Polaha is second with 1,969. Paul Wickman served as team captain (pictured receiving the championship trophy). It marked Lehigh's first of four NCAA Tournament appearances, also advancing in 1988, 2004 and 2010.
