First day of action in Virginia complete

WILLIAMSBURG, Va. – Lehigh opened action at the C&F Bank Invitational on Saturday at Ford’s Colony Golf Resort and after 18 holes the Mountain Hawks sit in 17th place with a team score of 344. Ginette Schapira is Lehigh’s top individual after shooting an 82 and she sits in a tie for 43rd place. St. John’s is the overall team leader after shooting a 307 and the Red Storm is followed by William & Mary (308), Longwood (308), Old Dominion (311) and Boston College (311).
Other Mountain Hawks that competed on Saturday were Chelsea Michalek who sits in a tie for 59th with an 85, Rose Davies who is tied for 73rd with an 87, Livia Amado who is tied for 86th after shooting a 90 and Emily Endres who also shot a 90.
Old Dominion’s Samantha Morrell is in first in the individual standings after she posted a score of 69 with Eunice Kim of Boston College and Megan Leineweber of Radford tied for second with identical scores of 72.
Action in Virginia concludes on Sunday morning beginning at 10:00 AM.
