Women 4th at Lehigh's Don Mershon Classic

Telford, PA – Freshman Sarah March shot a 176 to lead Lehigh, who finished fourth in the six team Don Mershon Classic, played at Indian Valley Country Club. As a team, the host Mountain Hawks shot a 742, finishing behind Hofstra, as the Pride won the event with a 707.
March posted scores of 87 and 89 to finish fifth. Monmouth’s Stephanie Coughlin took individual first place honors by shooting a 161. Other Lehigh finishers include Alexis Foucek, who finished tied for sixth with a 178 (85-93), Danielle Kochenour (92-97-189), Moriah Britt (95-104-199), and Liz Eaton (111-96-207).
"We had some good scores out there," said Lehigh head coach Kelly Gutshall. "But the girls and I know that we can do a better job, so we’ll work hard and improve."
Lehigh takes to the links once again next weekend, as the Mountain Hawks compete in the two day Rutgers Invitational in New Jersey.
