Play suspended in Don Mershon Classic

Telford, PA – Play has been suspended due to darkness after 15 holes in the first round of the Don Mershon Classic being played at Indian Valley Country Club. Lehigh, playing host to the tenth annual event, has two men’s entries and a women’s team taking part in the 21-team tournament, which features 16 men’s teams and five women’s teams.
Action is set to resume at 9:00 am on Monday morning, as golfers will complete the first round before teeing off for 18 holes in round two later Monday morning. Lehigh results will be available following the completion of the tournament Monday evening on the Lehigh web site. Full results from the Don Mershon Classic will be faxed to each competing institution at that time as well.
