Foucek, Kochenour lead Lehigh to win

Saucon Valley, PA – Sophomore Alexis Foucek posted a 90 and junior Danielle Kochenour shot a 91 as Lehigh captured the Lehigh Quad at the Saucon Valley Country Club on Friday night. The co-captains paced the Mountain Hawks, who shot a 375 as a team in picking up the win in its first outing of the season. Kutztown and Mt. St. Mary’s each posted team scores of 421, while the Pioneers of Sacred Heart shot a 490.
Foucek’s 90 was good for second place overall, behind Kutztown’s Jessica May, who led all golfers with an 85. Kochenour’s 91 was good for third place overall, while the Mountaineers’ Shannon Prettyman posted a 92 to finish fourth. Rounding out the top five was Lehigh freshman Sarah March, who shot a 96 on the afternoon.
Lehigh is right back in action next Friday, as the Mountain Hawks visit Emmitsburg, Maryland to take part in the Mount St. Mary’s Invtiational.
