Lehigh in seventh after one day of Roar-EE Invite

SUFFERN, N.Y. – Lehigh opened competition at the Roar-EE Invitational on Friday at Spook Rock Golf Course, and after 18 holes of play the Mountain Hawks sit in seventh place out of ten schools in attendance. Lehigh shot a 326 in the first round, led by the play of Livia Amado (76) and Ana Nam (77) who are tied for sixth and tenth place, respectively. Princeton leads the event after totaling a 302 and the Tigers are followed by Harvard (309), Penn (313), Fairleigh Dickinson (313) and Columbia (319) to round out the top five.
Other Mountain Hawks competing at the par-72 course are Jen Nagel who shot an 84 and is tied for 35th place, Taylor Orr, who totaled an 89 and sits in a tie for 48th place, and Emily Endres who shot a 91 and is in 54th place.
FDU’s Eva Mayr is atop the individual leader board after shooting a 71, with Columbia’s Robin Lee in second with a 72 and Princeton’s Susannah Aboff sitting in third with a score of 73.
The second and final round will get underway at 11:00 AM on Saturday morning.
