Eight Mountain Hawks named to Honor Roll

BETHLEHEM, Pa. – Lehigh placed eight student-athletes on the Patriot League Academic Honor Roll, it was announced on Monday. A total of 42 student-athletes were named to the honor roll, with the Patriot League champion Mountain Hawks tied for the league-lead with their eight selections. To be eligible for the honor roll, a student-athlete must obtain a 3.2 grade point average and be awarded a varsity letter.

 

The Mountain Hawks were led by their point guards, as senior Claire Sullivan and sophomore Erica Prosser where two of six Patriot League student-athletes to earn perfect 4.0 GPAs in the spring. Sullivan, a political science major earned a spot on the Academic Honor Roll for the fourth time, while Prosser, who is enrolled in the College of Arts and Sciences, netted her second straight nod.

 

Joining Sullivan and Prosser on the honor roll were seniors Haly Crites, Courtney Molinaro, Melissa Rich and Tricia Smith and juniors Kristen Dalton and Alex Ross.

 

Army sophomore Erin Anthony was named the league’s Scholar-Athlete of the Year for women’s basketball in March.
