Lehigh announces 2007-08 track schedule

BETHLEHEM, Pa.- Mountain Hawks head coach Matt Utesch has announced both the indoor and outdoor track schedule for the 2007-08 season. The Brown and White will participate in a total of 25 events, with four home events on the schedule.

Lehigh kicks off the indoor season at Rauch Field House on December 7, when it hosts DeSales and Moravian at 6 p.m. The Mountain Hawks will be on the road for their next two events when they travel to Penn State on January 12 and Bucknell on January 19.

The Brown and White return home for two events starting on January 25. Lehigh hosts Lafayette in its annual dual on February 1 at Rauch Field House.

The Patriot League Indoor Championships will take place on February 22 and 23 at Bucknell. The Mountain Hawks will travel to Boston for the weekend of March 7-9 to participate in the ECAC and IC4A Championships.

The outdoor season starts on March 22, when Lehigh travels to Annapolis, Md. for a meet with Navy. The Mountain Hawks face off against Lafayette on April 5 and then travel to Bucknell the following weekend.

The Brown and White will participate in the Penn Relays on April 24-26 and also host its only home meet of the outdoor season on April 26, with the Lehigh Games.

The Patriot League Outdoor Championships will take place May 2 and 3 at Navy and the ECAC/IC4A Championships will be two weeks later at Princeton.
