BETHLEHEM, Pa. – One day after earning Male Diver of the Week honors from the Patriot League, Lehigh junior Clark Cohen was honored Wednesday as the ECAC Co-Male Diver of the Week. Cohen continued his string of success this season, sweeping the one and three-meter dives in the Mountain Hawks’ 154-146 win at Bucknell on Saturday afternoon.
Cohen won the one meter dive by 21 points over his nearest competitor, scoring 265.28 points in the event. The Bradford, Pennsylvania native also won the three meter, with a score of 260.55. This season, Cohen has swept the diving events in all four of Lehigh’s Patriot League meets. Earlier this season Cohen broke a 12 year old school record, scoring 279.25 points in the one meter dive against Colgate.
This week, Cohen shared ECAC top diver honors with Boston University’s Brian Lawler.
The Mountain Hawks will return to the pool on Saturday when they visit La Salle in the final dual meet before the Patriot League Championships. The meet gets underway at noon from Philadelphia.
